Heart and blood pressure drugs
Taking these medications with Ileveran can increase your risk of kidney problems, low blood pressure, and/or high blood potassium.

Dosages of Ileveran:
Powder for oral solution (Epaned)
- 150 mg bottle (1mg/mL after reconstitution)
As with all vasodilators, Ileveran should be given with caution to patients with obstruction in the outflow tract of the left ventricle.
What other drugs will affect Ileveran?
Tell your doctor about all medicines you use, and those you start or stop using during your treatment with Ileveran, especially:
a diuretic or "water pill";
gold injections to treat arthritis; or
NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) - aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve), celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others.

Serious allergic reaction
It is possible to have a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to Ileveran.
Ileveran can cause a severe allergic reaction. Symptoms include:
- trouble breathing
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you develop these symptoms.
Don’t take this drug again if you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to it before. Taking it again could be fatal (cause death).

The more common side effects that can occur with Ileveran include:
If these effects are mild, they may go away within a few days or a couple of weeks. If they’re more severe or don’t go away, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Will my dose go up or down?
You will probably be prescribed a low dose of Ileveran at first so it doesn't make you feel dizzy. This will usually be increased gradually until you reach the right dose for you. If you're bothered by side effects with Ileveran you can stay on a lower dose.
