What other drugs will affect ib-u-ron?
Ask your doctor before using ib-u-ron if you take an antidepressant such as citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine (Prozac), fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline (Zoloft), trazodone, or vilazodone. Taking any of these medicines with an NSAID may cause you to bruise or bleed easily.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use ib-u-ron if you are also using any of the following drugs:
a blood thinner (warfarin, Coumadin, Jantoven);
heart or blood pressure medication, including a diuretic or "water pill" as well as “ACE-inhibitor” medications; or

Individually, both alcohol and ib-u-ron can cause drowsiness. Combining the two may make this drowsiness worse, which can lead to excessive sleepiness or an inability to function normally.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that it is never safe to drink alcohol and drive. The reason for this is that alcohol slows down reaction times and impairs coordination.
The recommended dosage for adults is one or two 200 milligram (mg) tablets every four to six hours. Adults should not exceed 800 mg at once or 3,200 mg per day.
Adults over the age of 60 should take as little ib-u-ron as possible to manage their symptoms. Older adults have a higher risk of kidney and gastrointestinal side effects.
Is ib-u-ron safe to take if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
There are no adequate studies of ib-u-ron in pregnant women. Therefore, ib-u-ron is not recommended during pregnancy. ib-u-ron should be avoided in late pregnancy due to the risk of premature closure of the ductus arteriosus in the fetal heart.
ib-u-ron is excreted in breast milk but the American Academy of Pediatrics states that ib-u-ron is compatible with breastfeeding.

What is ib-u-ron?
ib-u-ron is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
ib-u-ron is used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as headache, toothache , back pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, or minor injury.
ib-u-ron is used in adults and children who are at least 6 months old.
The active ingredient in Aleve is naproxen and the other ingredient is sodium. For every 200mg of naproxen, Aleve contains 20mg sodium.
The active ingredient in Advil is ib-u-ron. Advil also contains sodium because the manufacturer claims that sodium ib-u-ron is more soluble in water than standard ib-u-ron.
