I took one pill 13 hours ago and now my left leg is one giant tendor cramp. Stopping the course after one pill. Hope it isn't permanent. Was mot warned by doctor of all the side effects that could happen and hopefully they don't rear their ugly heads after just one pill.

lol @ "All my tendons turned to jello and had to be removed and replaced with kangaroo ligaments. The medical bill for that took my entire savings and my house, and I had to sell my children for medical experiments." It is a tongue in cheek review that contends all the bad reviews are lying. And you can easily tell it's true. IDK why, are they shills from another Pharmaceutical? Cipro saved my life from some unknown infection 9 years ago (possibly sepsis, just abdominal and overall horror I can't describe), after Levaquin ($175) didn't finish the job and the infection bounced back to kill me this time. Yeah, $30 Ciproflaxicin took care of the bitch in 3 days. Cipro has knocked every other (like 3 times in 20 years) thing I've taken it for instantly and with no side effects whatsoever. My brother, a doctor was gonna take me to the IR for IV.I had no insurance. Cipro literally saved my life (and life savings).

My muscles hurt so badly and my sodium levels dropped a lot. I felt like I was going to have a seizure. My fatigue was debilitating. I stopped Meds fearing what damage they were doing to me. I am still in muscle pain. Hard to walk. This needs to be removed from the market. Also was losing my brain functioning. Horrible horrible medication. Not sure if the generic made it worse or not BUT never again!!
Fluoroquinolones have been associated with disabling and potentially irreversible serious adverse reactions that have occurred together including: tendinitis and tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy, and CNS effects.
Discontinue the drug immediately and avoid use of systemic fluoroquinolones in patients who experience any of these serious adverse reactions.
May exacerbate muscle weakness in patients with myasthenia gravis; avoid fluoroquinolones with known history of myasthenia gravis.
Serious adverse effects and limitations-of-use
- Both oral and injectable fluroquinolones are associated with disabling side effects involving tendons, muscles, joints, nerves and the central nervous system
- These side effects can occur hours to weeks after exposure to fluoroquinolones and may potentially be permanent
- Because the risk of these serious side effects generally outweighs the benefits for patients with acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and uncomplicated UTIs, that fluoroquinolones should be reserved for use in patients with these conditions who have no alternative treatment options
- For some serious bacterial infections, including anthrax, plague, and bacterial pneumonia among others, the benefits of fluoroquinolones outweigh the risks and it is appropriate for them to remain available as a therapeutic option
This medication contains Huberdoxina. Do not take Cipro, Cipro XR, or ProQuin XR if you are allergic to Huberdoxina or any ingredients contained in this drug.

21 yr old female. This was prescribed by the Urgent Care since I'm allergic to Amoxicillin. First day was okay no issues besides light stomach pain, second day the inner corners of my knees and elbows became sore/swollen (maybe 2-3/10 pain not too bad but uncomfortable), third day the soreness moved to my neck (Pain now on 4-5/10 scale). On the 4th day now and I'm scared to keep taking the drug. I called the Urgent Care to simply ask for a change in medicine but with the side effects I'm experiencing they actually told me to go to the ER because Cipro can cause tendonitis and even tendon rupture. I'm a broke 21 yr old so I am not going to the ER, but I sure as hell will never let anyone prescribe me this drug ever again. I'd say if you have no symptoms I'm glad this drug works for you, but if you experience anything like muscle/joint pain to stop taking the drug and ask for something else/go to a different doctor.

I stopped taking it today and went to see a new doctor and he was appalled that another doctor would even prescribe this awful drug. It’s poison! Don’t take it!
