Rated Cephalex for Bacterial Endocarditis Prophylaxis Report

Prescribed 500mg 4 times a day to treat some infected ingrown hairs on my groin and shaft. Was told it should clear up after 5 days, didn't so now on second batch. Wasnt told of the side effects at all and have found that it has caused the lymph nodes in my groin and thighs to become inflamed causing huge amounts of discomfort and some pain, a lot of itchiness and some redness, the ingrown hairs have become blistered and sore, and my shaft has swollen by double (no pain yet). Whole groin area is tender to touch and has small amounts of pain even when lying down. Would recommend finding an alternative to this drug

Rated Cephalex for Bacterial Endocarditis Prophylaxis Report

I was misdiagnosed and unfortunately my inner ear infection spread to the mastoid bone! Cephalex 1,000mg a day for 2 weeks and now on 500mg a day has been the only antibiotic to work for the type of bacteria called Streptococcus! My usual allergies of back nasal drip, itchy eyes and skin rash, asthma related issues have also stopped while taking this antibiotic! Whilst everyone’s body reacts differently, it’s definitely been a life saver for me!

Rated Cephalex for Skin or Soft Tissue Infection Report

I was prescribed this after a bout of HFMD ( ongoing ) caused a large infection on my foot. The first few days were fine, taking probiotics stopped any uncomfortable bowl side-effects but I am now learning that this medication is interfering with my migraine medication which is much more unpleasant than any bowl movement. This medication is doing its job though, so I am fine to put up with the uncomfortable side-effects it is causing.
